YOU’VE GOT IT ALL WITHIN YOU…
I was on the search for a sand dollar this morning on my beach walk. Low and behold, a kind man walking towards me approached me and offered me the sand dollars that he found. He meant well and I was grateful for his kindness. And as a much as I desired one, I knew there was no joy or real satisfaction in taking them from him.
The best part about finding a sand dollar is in the searching for one. When you're walking along the shore and you see the middle of one stick up above the sand as the waves come and go, digging your fingers around it, careful not to break it, pulling it up to see if it's whole. It's experiencing the entire process that makes it worthwhile.
The same goes for your healing and evolutionary journey. When you are simply handed what you desire, there is something vital that is missed.
This is so relational to my work. So many times, people (including myself) want the quick fix, the direct answer, the solution to the so called problem. I used to think my role was to assist people with that 'feel better now' desire, but I've come to realize that it's not. That just acts as bandaid to something deeper.
My role is to guide you into those deeper parts of yourself so YOU can remember, YOU can uncover, and YOU can rediscover who you really are from within yourself and all the abilities that you have to heal yourself. That's empowerment.
And that's the whole point!
To get you back into your power, to free yourself, to heal yourself, to love yourself, all from within.
You've got it all within, darlin'. You've got it all within!
